NGC 2557 (also UGC 4330, MCG 4-20-21, GWT 119.48 or PGC 23329) is a magnitude +13.4 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 223 million light-years away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 2nd February 1877.
