Barah, Northern Kordofan, Sudan
Fell 2001 February 8
Ordinary chondrite (LL5)
A meteorite was seen to fall on February 8, 2001, by the villagers of Al Zarnkh, about 150 km west of Barah, in the western region of Sudan. A fusion-crusted mass of 700 g was then recovered by geologist Dr. Salah Bashir.

The Al Zarnkh (LL5) meteorite fell in Kurdufan, Sudan, on the 8th February, 2001. 
A total mass of 700 g was recovered. 

13° 39' 37"N, 28° 57' 36"E
