NGC 2663 (also ESO 371-14, MCG -6-20-1 and PGC 24590) is a magnitude +10.9 elliptical galaxy located 97 million light-years away in Pyxis.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 8th February 1886.
