The fall of a meteorite in Skåne-Tranås, SE Scania, Sweden, took place on February 12, 1922 at 12.45 local time and was witnessed by many people. The circumstances of the fall are reviewed and a translation of an article in the local newspaper is given. Two pictures taken of the mill-pond in which the meteorite fell are also reproduced. The search for the meteorite was fruitless.
