NGC 2345 (also OCL 575) is a magnitude +7.7 open cluster located 7,342 light-years away in the constellation Canis Major.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel, using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 14th February 1836.
