NGC 2315 (also UGC 3633, MCG 8-13-45 and PGC 20045) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 289 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 16th February 1831.
