NGC 2670 (also OCL 764 and ESO 210-SC5) is a magnitude +7.8 open star cluster located in the constellation Vela.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 18th February 1836.
