NGC 4885 (also MCG -1-33-65, IRAS12579-0635 and PGC 44781) is a magnitude +14.0 spiral galaxy located 152 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 19th February 1830.
