NGC 2569 (also MCG 4-20-35 and PGC 23442) is a magnitude +14.3 lenticular galaxy located 235 million light-years away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by Danish-German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 19th February 1862.
