NGC 4753 (also UGC 8009, MCG 0-33-16, IRAS12498-0055 and PGC 43671) is a magnitude 9.9 lenticular galaxy located 57 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) Reflector on the 22nd February 1784.
