NGC 1485 (also IRAS 03598+7051, MCG 12-4-10, UGC 2933 and PGC 14432) is a magnitude +12.8 spiral galaxy located 50 million light-years away in the constellation Camelopardalis.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 24th February 1886.
