NGC 1469 (also MCG 11-5-4, UGC 2909 and PGC 14261) is a magnitude +13.2 lenticular galaxy located 51 million light-years away in the constellation Camelopardalis.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 24th February 1886.
