NGC 3763 (also IC 714, MCG -2-30-9, IRAS11339-093 and PGC 35907) is a magnitude +12.8 barred spiral galaxy located 270 million light-years away in the constellation Crater.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer Andrew Ainslie Common using a 91.44 cm (36 inch) f/5.9 reflector at Ealing, London, in 1880. The galaxy was rediscovered on the 25th February 1887 by Francis Leavenworth and relisted as IC 714.
