NGC 2427 (also ESO 208-27, IRAS07350-4731 and PGC 21375) is a magnitude +11.6 intermediate spiral galaxy located 45 million light-years away in the constellation Puppis.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm(18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 1st March 1835.
