NGC 2932 is a magnitude +14.2 group of stars located in the constellation Vela.
The asterism was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 3rd March 1837.
