NGC 3214 (also MCG 10-15-71 and PGC 30419) is a magnitude +14.4 spiral galaxy located 356 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by English astronomer Ralph Copeland using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr castle on the 9th March 1874.
