NGC 2368 (also OCL 571) is a magnitude +13.5 grouping of stars located in the constellation Monoceros. Results of a photometric study of the cluster were published in 2011, and show that the stars do not form a true cluster but are a chance grouping.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th March 1828.
