NGC 2687 (also NGC 2687A, MCG 8-16-38, MCG 8-16-39, PGC 25030 and PGC 25031) are a pair of magnitude +16.7 spiral galaxies located 681 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxies were discovered by astronomer R. J. Mitchell using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr castle on the 11th March 1858.
