NGC 2833 (also PGC 26389) is a magnitude +14.8 spiral galaxy located 336 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by Anglo-Irish astronomer George Stoney using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr castle on the 13th March 1850.
