NGC 4815 (also OCL 893 and ESO 96-SC1) is a magnitude +8.6 open star cluster located 10,000 light-years away in the constellation Musca.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 13th March 1834.
