NGC 5216 (also Arp 104, MCG 11-17-4, UGC 8528 and PGC 47598) is a magnitude +12.6 elliptical galaxy located 135 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 19th March 1790.
