NGC 2935 (also IRAS 09344-2054, MCG -3-25-11, UGCA 169 and PGC 27351) is a magnitude +11.3 barred spiral galaxy located 104 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 20th March 1786.
