NGC 4385 (also IRAS 12231+0050, MCG 0-32-9, UGC 7515 and PGC 40564) is a magnitude +12.9 spiral galaxy located 99 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 22nd March 1865.
