NGC 2766 (also MCG 5-22-9, UGC 4801 and PGC 25735) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 341 million light-years away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 22nd March 1884.
