NGC 2877 (also IRAS 09231+0226, MCG 0-24-15 and PGC 26738) is a magnitude +14.3 face-on spiral galaxy located 336 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 28th March 1864.
