NGC 5920 (also UGC 9822 and PGC 54839) is a magnitude +13.6 lenticular galaxy located 624 million light-years away in the constellation Serpens.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 30th March 1887.
