NGC 3405 (also NGC 3405-1, UGC 5933 and PGC 32414) is a magnitude +14.4 spiral galaxy located 296 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 1st April 1864.
