NGC 2805 (also MCG 11-12-3, UGC 4936 and PGC 26410) is a magnitude +11.0 face-on spiral galaxy located 79 million light years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire on the 2nd April 1791.
