NGC 4693 (also IRAS 12452+7126, MCG 12-12-18, UGC 7962 and PGC 43141) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 77 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 7th April 1793.
