NGC 5018 (also IRAS 13103-1915, MCG -3-34-17, UGCA 335 and PGC 45908) is a magnitude +10.8 elliptical galaxy located 129 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 8th April 1788.
