NGC 3616 (also MCG 10-16-120, UGC 6348 and PGC 34718) is a magnitude +12.3 optical double star located in the constellation Leo.
The star was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 8th April 1784.
