NGC 5362 (also IRAS 13527+4133, MCG 7-29-16, UGC 8835 and PGC 49464) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located 100 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th April 1787.
