NGC 3386 (also MCG 1-28-10 and PGC 32284) is a magnitude +14.2 elliptical galaxy located 470 million light-years away in the constellation Sextans.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th April 1828.
