Pétèlkolé Téra, Niger Fell 1995 April 10 Ordinary chondrite (H5) The fall occurred in the afternoon and was eye-witnessed by a shepherd in the campground of Garauol Olo, near Pétèlkolé, Téra district, not far from the border with Burkina Faso. One stone of 189 g was collected just after the impact, under few centimetres of sand. An investigation in Pétèlkolé led by Ama Salah Issack (Department of Geological and Mining Research) confirmed that only one stone was collected and provided the coordinates of the fall.
