NGC 5052 (also MCG 5-31-165, UGC 8330 and PGC 46131) is a magnitude +13.2 lenticular galaxy located 305 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th April 1831.
