NGC 5192 (also PGC 47503) is a magnitude +14.1 spiral galaxy located 497 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 12th April 1864.
