NGC 4654 (also IRAS 12414+1324, MCG 2-33-4, UGC 7902 and PGC 42857) is a magnitude +10.5 intermediate spiral galaxy located 55 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 12th April 1784.
