NGC 5682 (also IRAS 14329+4853, MCG 8-27-2, UGC 9388 and PGC 52107) is a magnitude +14.1 edge-on spiral galaxy located 104 million light-years away in the constellation Boötes.
The galaxy was discovered by Anglo-Irish astronomer George Johnstone Stoney using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr Castle on the 13th April 1850.
