NGC 4330 (also IRAS 12207+1138, MCG 2-32-20, UGC 7456 and PGC 40201) is a magnitude +12.4 edge-on spiral galaxy located 72 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by Irish astronomer Bindon Blood Stoney using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr Castle on the 14th April 1852.
