NGC 4808 (also IRAS 12532+0434, MCG 1-33-28, UGC 8054 and PGC 44086) is a magnitude +11.7 spiral galaxy located 35 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 17th April 1786.
