NGC 4107 (also NGC 4078, MCG 2-31-23, UGC 7066 and PGC 38238) is a magnitude +13.2 spiral galaxy located 119 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 16th April 1863. The galaxy was rediscovered by Heinrich d'Arrest in March 1865, and relisted as NGC 4078.
