NGC 5534 (also IRAS 14150-0711, MCG -1-36-14 and PGC 51055) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located 121 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Wilhelm Tempel using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Arcetri Observatory on the 29th April 1881.
