NGC 5668 (also IRAS 14309+0440, MCG 1-37-28, UGC 9363 and PGC 52018) is a magnitude +11.5 face-on spiral galaxy located 72 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 29th April 1786.
