NGC 4086 (also MCG 4-29-16, UGC 7076 and PGC 38290) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 326 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by Danish-German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor st the Copenhagen Observatory on the 2nd May 1864.
