NGC 5144 (also NGC 5144B, MCG 12-13-5, UGC 8420 and PGC 200298) is a magnitude +15.0 spiral galaxy located 144 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Minor.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector on the 6th May 1791.
