NGC 4611 (also IC 805, MCG 2-32-179, UGC 7849 and PGC 42564) is a magnitude +14.3 edge-on spiral galaxy located 281 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 17th May 1881. The galaxy was rediscovered by Lewis Swift in April 1889 and relisted as IC 805
