NGC 6663 (also IRAS 18319+4000, MCG 7-38-11, UGC 11276 and PGC 62032) is a magnitude +13.9 spiral galaxy located 316 million light-years away in the constellation Lyra.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Edward D. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 29th May 1887.
