NGC 6470 (also MCG 11-21-25, UGC 10974 and PGC 60778) is a magnitude +14.7 face-on spiral galaxy located 67 million light-years away in the constellation of Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomers Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 9th June 1886.
