NGC 6008 (also NGC 6008A, MCG 4-37-52, UGC 10076 and PGC 56289) is a magnitude +13.7 barred spiral galaxy located 224 million light-years away in the constellation of Serpens.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory, on the 10th June 1880.
