NGC 5891 (also IRAS 15134-1118, MCG -2-39-15 and PGC 54491) is a magnitude 13.8 spiral galaxy located 146 million light-years away in the constellation Libra.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Francis Preserved Leavenworth using a 66.04 cm (26 inch) refracting telescope at the Leander McCormick Observatory at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia on the 12th June 1885.
